Spring Fest-Energy, Exitement, Entusiasm

Indian Spring Season brings not just the bitter cold weather but also the hotter Fests! Yes the Festive Season is back, time for some fun and excitement! The Awkward Challenges, Handsome prizes, Thrilling Performances, Enthusiastic Participants last but not the least the Stunning Responses from the Audience this is what the fest is all about! And here is what you can expect this season as well at some of the happening institutes, to name a few are the Spring fest, Saarang, TechFest, Kshitij and many more..

Coming back to Spring fest - The most awaited Fest of the Season which apparently attracts the students from all over the country as well as the foreign participants is to be held at IIT Kharagpur during this month. A 4 night-3day Fest features the events such as Taal, Pal, Anubhav, Armageddon, Wildfire, Rangmanch, Hasya Kavi Sammelan etc.

But the most famous event seems to be the Star Night which involves the musical performances by some of the notable Artists of South Asia. This event is such a huge crowd puller that for latecomers, it is usually impossible to get a seat inside Open theater and sights such as students hanging on tree branches and on the high Open Theater walls to catch a glimpse of the concert are not uncommon.

Alongside the Cultural Fests, Technical fests have also gained huge popularity and TechFest organized by IIT Bombay ranks first claiming to be the Asia's Largest technical fest.
A technical fest basically concentrates on encouraging new technologies, conducting workshops, guest lectures by famous educationalists and technocrats over the world. Technical Competitions, Robotics, Aero Design, Lan Gaming, etc are some of the common events that attract huge participants.

These Tech Fests also offer a platform for the Firms to expose their future projects and thus giving them a chance to access their products which also implicitly acts as a marketing base.
And may be this is the reason why companies flock around the fests sponsoring these gigantic events! ;)

OK now before you access how worse this post has been.. lemme drop a quick list of events and the corresponding web links...
